August 2017 holds several important dates. Not only is the long-anticipated solar eclipse occurring, but Mother Earth Brew Company and Payette Brewing Company's are also releasing their first collaboration brew: LUNARtic.
On August 21, a total eclipse of the sun is visible from various cities across the United States. The path begins in the Pacific Northwest and crosses the USA from west to east through parts of the following states: Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, and South Carolina. Idaho is lucky enough to be included in the eclipse's path so we thought it was only fitting to create a beer as a tribute to this event.
Mother Earth talks about how were were inspired by a magic centenary event to create a beer that will bend space and time. Our eclipse ale named LUNARtic, an anti-gravity ale brewed with Comet and Galaxy hops and Mosaic lupulin dust, is launching soon.
It was our first collaboration brew with Mother Earth and we had a blast! Our beer is out of this world. Look for LUNARtic: coming to you on August 3rd.
