BARTENDER: PAYETTE BREWING COMPANY

OVERVIEW: Payette Brewing is looking for energetic, team-oriented bartenders with a passion for craft beer and great customer service to work in our Tap Room. Our bartenders create a welcoming environment, serve beverages, sell to-go beer, assist with merchandise, and keep the Tap Room running smoothly in a fast-paced setting. As brand ambassadors, they share Payette’s story while delivering top-notch service.

REPORTS TO: Tap Room Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome guests and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.

  • Recommend beverages and take drink orders.

  • Check IDs and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines.

  • Handle transactions accurately (cash, credit, debit).

  • Maintain cleanliness in the taproom, beer garden, and bar area.

  • Follow safety, sanitation, and alcohol handling policies.

  • Assist with large events and maintain a fun, safe environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bring a positive attitude and a team-first mindset—collaboration and great customer service are at the heart of what we do!

  • Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol.

  • Available nights, weekends, holidays, and events.

  • Reliable, professional, and personable.

  • Basic math and computer skills.

  • Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Idaho TIPS® Certification may be required.

COMPENSATION & PERKS

  • Hours: 26-32 hours per week (4-5 shifts)

  • Pay: $5-7/hr + great tips
