We’re committed to taking care of those who’ve taken care of us, and to shining a light on people doing amazing things. That’s why we launched the Payette Forward Program in 2011, which included our local giveback initiative, Kegs 4 Kause. What started as a way for us to give back, stay involved, and make a local impact has grown to be a pillar in our brewery and our community.
Join us every Monday from 6:00 - 10:00 pm, as we donate 50% of our profits from draft beer sales in the Tap Room to a selected Idaho non-profit.
ABOUT:
Breaking Chains Academy is a nonprofit on the Northside of Nampa serving Canyon County's at-risk youth by providing the tools and resources needed to deter from criminal or gang activity and transition into successful adulthood. We are able to achieve our mission through three main objectives; mentorship, education, and work skill training. The biggest service we provide is our education services, as students have the ability to obtain their GED/HSE at zero cost. Our services are complemented by a fully-stocked hygiene closet and kitchen. The need for our services are expanding every year, and this is shown through the growth of our program. In 2022, we graduated 34 students with their GED/HSE. This year, we have graduated 55 students with nearly 3 months left in the year. We have established partnerships with the Idaho Juvenile Corrections Office, Health and Welfare, and individuals within the local school districts to help refer youth who are falling in the cracks. Our graduates have even recruited students through word of mouth, knowing that when they come to Breaking Chains Academy they will be set on a path of success. We are continuing the search to find businesses and organizations that would like to partner and commit to walking alongside our growth, in hopes to serve more youth in Canyon County.
