The Payette Brew Crew takes advantage of warm days and high altitude adventures

Who can believe we are already halfway through summer? Now that the heat is finally bearing down on us in Boise, many of our friends and coworkers have been spending their free time camping and hiking at higher elevations and cooling off in mountain lakes and rivers. That said, we think it is a good time to catch up with a few of the Payette Brew Crew and their latest adventures.

With cooler temperatures so easy to find within a short drive, it’s no surprise many of us have found our way up towards some of our favorite Idaho spots, McCall, Stanley, and Ketchum.

Let’s not forget one of the hidden gems that south-central Idaho has to offer. Recently featured in Outdoor Idaho Magazine, and just a short drive from Twin Falls, Box Canyon’s tropical blue water has begun to attract hikers from all over the state for its Oasis-like vibes.

If more distant adventures are what you’re after, we’ve got you covered. The week of 4th of July we had quite a few members of the brew crew scattered all over the west coast and the PNW. Beertender and tour guide Steph Pyles was fortunate enough to road trip all over the North Cascades for a few days enjoying some serious views of the ‘American Alps’.

As if we need a reminder; mountains, lakes, and rivers are not the only way to get out and explore. Several members of our production team spent the week of July 4th enjoying some rare summer weather and fresh craft beers on the coast in Seattle.

Even further outside of Idaho, Paige and Mike headed to South Lake Tahoe to mountain bike, hike and kayak on one of their favorite high altitude spots, Echo Lake.

If you are a fan of Payette Brewing, you’re probably familiar with our motto, “Adventure Ready” and our commonly used #adventureswithpayette photo caption. If this recap of summer adventures is any indication, we don’t plan on slowing down. The authenticity we strive for in our culture and how we brew our beer is a big part of who we are. We work hard and play harder. That being said, we currently have a handful of crew members in Europe and are excited to share some of their stories with you, so stay tuned.
